They need to battle extreme weather on the boat while they sail and motor their way back to Canada. Check out the second episode of Sailing BC where Adelle and Christopher start the journey to bring their new sail boat from Gig Harbour Washington back to Canada during one of the coldest winters in decades. On the first night they lose their heater and a few days later brace for a major sailboat disaster with their boat in the Swinomish channel. Sailing the PNW has its challenges and being a new boater, learning how to navigate, learning how to sail, is a real challenge on the water. Last thing we want is a sailboat disaster. Sailing from Shilshole marina, to Oak Harbour, then up through the Swinish Channel to LaConner.

In this episode, we continue our journey to bring our new sail boat from Gig Harbour Washington to Canada during one of the coldest winters in decades. After a snowy stopover on the Swinomish channel in La Connor Washington, we make our way back to Vancouver, BC. We encounter some challenging weather conditions with high winds, extreme temperatures and get welcomed back to Canada by a school of white sided dolphins.
